Mexican Fan Palm (Washington Palm,
Skyduster) Washingtonia robusta Large palm with huge fan-shaped leaves topping a thin grey-barked central trunk. Native to northern Mexico. Hardier than the W. filifera, it also grows taller and faster. Makes a very good potted palm, but it will need to be transplanted at least one a year.
