This ancient variety was thought to have become extinct over 20,000 years ago until the species was discovered growing in China. Green fernlike foliage, buckskin with pink shadings in autumn. Grows rapidly (some 14 year old trees can reach 13 inches in diameter and 35 feet in height). Hardy to -20F (-28.8C); height: 80ft.
