Large shrub or small tree with thin creamy white bark that forms paperlike layers. Blooms are white and hang in racemes. They are very tolerant trees, putting up with a wide variety of soils and conditions. The oil of this variety has been used for years to prepare the commercial "Tea oil", which is an excellent antiseptic, diaphoretic and expectorant.
